Prishtina

Prishtina, the capital of Kosova, has grown so much in the past 20 years! The center promenade is beautiful and vibrant and new buildings are everywhere. It was wonderful meeting Kosova’s President Vjosa Osmani on our first day there, then, during the next two weeks, seeing old friends like Dushe, Sadete, Nurie, Igo, Xhyzida, and Haki, and getting to know our host, Anthropology professor (and book publisher) Arsim Canolli and his family!
